Thanks! The system used for my stuff is cosmichrome. Not too many people around doing it. I think it’s very difficult process to do right... so I hear.

Saw it in the Kustom thread. Happy you are doing a build thread. You have some talents.

Here’s the interior. The seat is just an early 90’s chev truck bench with the headrest removed. Got the new cover from some website. My interior was actually really cheap to do. The panels are not stitched though. That’s still ok the ‘todo one day’ list. I don’t like the look of the Dakota digital gauge cluster but it solved a number of issues and made some stuff really easy. Maybe one day I can do something different. The 40 ford style wheel is a piece of crap, it cracked over the winter but when I contacted the company they just sent me another no hassle. Must have been a common problem??. I body worked and primed my stuff that was for chrome paint and brought it to a local guy that uses cosmichrome system. It wasn’t the best experience. Difficult guy to work with, took far too long. Got my stuff back 3 days before motorama after dropping it off about 4-5 months ago. But the results are pretty good. Some issues but we worked something out on those parts as I was still able to use them.

"I made lots of mistakes and paint is not perfect but it’s mine, and I made it at home and I’m gonna drive it."

In my book, this says it all. 5 Stars!

Love the truck and love your resourcefulness in working out things on your own and doing it on the cheap! Great job!
