I took the measurements for 37 to be chopped last night.
Like the others have said BEFORE the channel is attempted.
Do some calculating. What kinda of seats...How tall are you and what kinda of tranny.
Shifting with a low dash board could be a pain. Also what steering column are you gonna run.
I looked a at 4 inch top chop and a 5 inch channel. That cab is gonna get really tiny inside.
having said that...I am still going to chop and channel. I just gotta think about some ergonics in the cab.

There is tons of head room in that truck. I'm 5'10 and the roof is a good 8 inches from my noggin. Lucky for me I have the inseem of a midget (vertically challenged) person. So even with the channel there is plenty of room to the pedals.

  9. I was only 5'6" when I first got the truck at age 14. Grew a little after that. It could have been worse. One of my great-grandfathers was 6'8" and wore size 16 shoes.

  12. I hope my 38 turns out even half as nice. Great job on the proportions. Could you put up any more pics of the finished product as I could use the inspiration?
