Wow thanks for that. Look forward to seeing your next build.
And for that example, this was the final effect. All paint is new on top of fresh metal work.
I feel extremely fortunate to have been a part of it. Thanks for having me. ..May not happen again?? Why not?
I think I figured out what happened to first-gear last weekend...
Looks like I’ll be rebuilding the transmission with some new gears.
Ooh nasty. Which gear did they come from? The cluster gear?
Low and cluster. Looking for replacement parts now. Let me know if anyone can help locate these.. thanks!
Those that know what they’re doing make it look easy, really enjoyed your build thread.
Thanks for sharing.
That paint technique is killer!! Spot on
Amazing paint example! Thanks for sharing it.
It took a couple tries, but I finally completed the transmission repair with some new gears, and installed a fresh 59A motor as well. Ready for this year’s Trog!
It also gave me a chance to tie up some other loose ends on the chassis, apply some stain to the floors, and add some side skirts... I’m kinda digging on the new look.
Looking good!! It was a pleasure meeting you at the LA Roadster Show. Great job on the car!!
Might want to check. I'm pretty sure they're requiring a roll bar now.
Love the interior. Whole car looks great!
You’re right. Almost forgot!
The whole job looks great!!! Can’t wait for the next build Steve!!!!!
This is definitely one of my favorite the build threads! I have really appreciated all of the instillation and technical parts knowledge provided here. It has helped me with my own project!
