We used to index plugs in our race engines but not for clearance! For performance.
No. I have a head that has been milled 0.090".
Whew! Only on a six!! Should have some compression. LOL.
It goes like hell, when it has functioning spark plugs in it!
I was going to suggest that you look for dimensionally compatible flat copper washers from the industrial suppliers or ebay and make a quick tool to make them tapered like a Zeus dimpler.

I worry about what shrouding the plugs would do.
Get an extended tip equivalent to the 46
46 is the extended tip. 127 is the short version.
