he'll be waiting at the gates to see you when your time comes. i really have hard time grasping a 13 year fight with cancer as i personally dodged the bullet 17 years ago. realizing the pain that is associated with the disease itself let alone the remedy they use to rid one of the disease tells me your pops was one tough dude!

My dad turns 75 on christmas day. He is my best hot rod buddy. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Spent the day with my Pops. Burning a brush pile, drinking too much and shooting the shit. We're going to look at a '29 more door tomorrow. Trust me, I don't take any of this time for granted... I cherish every minute. Hope you don't mind if I shed a tear or two for your loss.

Sorry to hear about the loss, but the fact that he live 13 years gives me encouragement. I found out that I have cancer about two months ago, and would give about anything to know I had another 13 years to live. Hopefully I do have 13 years, so I can spend that time with my son.

Sorry for loss. My dad just got home this afternoon from his 3rd bladder cancer surgery. My son spent the last 2 days putting early x-mas presents (parts) on his 32 coupe to surprise him when he got home. Talk about make his day!!! He can't wait to take it for a spin as soon as he feels better. Damn proud of my son for doing that for my dad, and me. Funny how the old cars make us all feel.
