Yeah but neither one is any where near driveable. Or will be for years, apparently. Ha Ha

Wow. I gotta be honest with you, man... I'm really not much of a roadster guy, but you've nearly got me converted! The low stance, unstretched wheelbase, clean lines, and the fact that you sit *in* it rather than *on* it. It just looks absolutely fantastic. Keep enjoying that thing and if you never tear it apart to do "final paint", don't sweat it. It look bad ass as it sits.

Oh, I nearly forgot to ask. Do you have any more pic of your steering arrangement? I'm more a fan of your steering wheel position than the truck driver style most hot rods have. So share some details, man! ;)

  5. Wow - this has really turned into one nice looking ride. Hey, and save your money to drive the wheels off of this thing - it looks great just the way it is! Good luck with it!

    Thanks for the kind comments.

TommyR here are some shots of the steering setup. Let me know if you need any more info. Im 6'2 and with the way the seat and steering is set up i cant touch the firewall.

here is a shot of the seat. Kinda crude but its comfy and works well. Its formed out of aluminum and then I just made some covers for it.

Yeah it's alot of fun. It's not anywhere near as nice a most hot rods. But with two kids and sharing the garage with all the toys they have it kinda has to be done this way. Plus they are always sitting in it and touching it so the crappy paint works for now. They love the hell out of it and are already fighting over who gets it when I'm gone.

    Thanks Tommy R!

Hopefully next year I can take this thing on tour around the country and see some sites. It's built to drive and the goal was an across country trip. Texas is on the list!!

Yes Tom I want a ride around the block. But only after I clean my garage. It's a crap hole.

  18. What hub caps did you find to fit throes rims? I have only found some aftermarket Chevrolet caps that will snap on to them.

Richie - Thanks man. Its kinda hell on the ears on long rides lol.

Eyeball - The wheels and caps both came from Wheel Vintiques. They are the ford caps that they sell.

Such a great looking roadster.. yours and Nimrod's, both!

Cool to see you've been out driving and enjoying it - exactly what these cars are meant for.
