I finally got around to making headers for my Daimler Hemi (England) powered Deuce. That has allowed me to fit the smooth hood sides that I got when I bought the project 14 years ago .I copied the basic Daimler manifold design but had to do a reversal on the driver's side as it ran into the Steering column. I love the results & she still runs cool & the paint did not blister after my trip to LARS .It could be the only Hemi powered Deuce with no louvers & no blisters in the hood ;) It helps being only 276 cu in.

WOW, looks killer. Are the headlights the new OTB ones or old guides ?? I'm loving my hot rod column and spoon pedal too, thanks again.

The Speedo is a 39 Ford , re faced , as was said The Daimler was made in England 1958-1968 on 2044 were produced, aluminium heads iron block.Front axle I bought 15 years ago too, old dropped & filled unknown maker.Head lights are original , as is everything except my headlight bar/shock mount & front shocks. Trans is a T5 I adapted (all the limo engines were autos )

Thanks for the nice comments guys I like the smooth hood sides , I don't like to follow a groove ;)
