It means a lot to me, when she was 13 she helped me drag it home, worked with me on it and came to swap meets. Now I have moved away and she is in shop class and building 4x4 trucks. Here is a photo just after we got the body home.
What a beautiful young lady! Everybody should learn to drive a stick! I have only ever owned manual cars except for our Suburban's (which you can't get in a stick!). Karin

Too Cool! But, boy are you going to have the dogs around after that beautiful daughter of yours especially driving the "T". Makes me glad we have two boys.
The rule at our house is that you learn on a stick and then you can graduate to automatic. My wife learned to drive in her dads work trucks and agreed when I proposed the boys learn on a stick. Besides, the cool cars at our house were all standard shifts.
I thought it would be someone learning about the real 3 pedals in a "T". Learning how to set the brake lever to select hi or low range then adjusting the spark and gas lever then pushing the correct pedal down to go forward. That's how a lot of us learned. All of my kids learned on a standard shift and also had to change a tire in the driveway before earning their keys. Middle daughter just bought a new Jeep Rubicon and ordered it with 5 speed.
Hmm maybe the "Hotrod" category should have given you a clue. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
