If you were a guy I'd say you ****...but can't do that now can I?

Great find, glad you found what you were looking for.

Me? Well, I think I'dkeep al the fenders/etc on it, spruce of the drivetrain some...it looks too nice to strip dowm and make a traditional-somehting out of it.

Fantastic find and good luck with your dream car. That "A" is in great shape, so great I wouldn't take the fenders off it's such a sweet ride.

Congrats on the find. Hope you plan to build it with fenders once you get a chance to look it over.

    >>Plans are for now to get it running, road worthy, and dependable. I really, really wanna leave the banger motor in it (or build a faster B :D).<<

Good for you! I love inlines!

You got a real find there. It's almost impossible to find original cars that solid and complete now.

  14. Whats all this bubbling about the one you took.. ... What about the rest of the cars that were in this building ... C'mon show all the stuff there

Real nice find! clean it up and enjoy driving like it is. Has anyone asked what the inspection door in the splash apron is for?

They are out there. Glad you found a good one. I picked this A out of hibernation two weeks ago.

First, congratulations on finding this roadster. Second, good for you making the deal to get it. Third, this car has been together since it left the factory. Might not seem like a big deal but think about the odds of that being true, one in a million, HA!!, more like one in 10 million. I''m not asking, I'm begging you to leave those fenders ON that sweet roadster. A little lowering and a dropped axle rake would be a plus. I agree with you on keeping the 4 banger and attempting to get it running. If you can it would be most cool.
Now, this is where I would like to see you deviate from the norm. How about ultimately using some kind of 4 cyl but a better design, more powerful, more reliable (able to take on long distance trips without a hichup) mated to a 5/6 spd manual for some fun driving, kicking up the dirt oval track /road course shinanigans.:D One of those late 80's/90's Olds quad 4s dressed like an Offy 4 come to mind.
If you did all of this and kept the naturally aged (I hate the over used "patina" term) appearance you would surprise many a fellow traveler/stop light challenger.
Bottom line, it's yours, do it your way but please give me a ride when you get it on the road.
