Projects My Dad's '31 P/U

My Dad bought this right before Christmas of '09. I took these the day we looked at it,and my Dad went back the next day or so and bought it. $600 plus a few spare parts. It sat for a month or two on my cousin's trailer until he needed it for racing season. We rolled it off the trailer ,and it sat for another month or two until Dad needed his bush hog for mowing season. We moved it then, and it sit in one place until a month or so ago when Dad tore it all apart. That's all the "progress" so far.

Dad wants to drive it to Crusin' the Coast on the 2nd weekend of October. I doubt it,but we'll see! He has already been offered his money back on the car!

It needs lots more work!!! It's rougher than the pics show.

My Dad and I kinda have motivational issues. I'm far from lazy,but I can't talk myself into starting stuff sometimes. After I get started I will go until everyone else wants to quit!

I think it will be a ton of fun for Mom and Dad if it ever gets finished.

 

So where would you start on this project? Dad is steadily gathering parts for the truck,but what area would you concentrate on first??
