Here is my build .sport coupe body,32 rails,sbf,t5
Hells yes a build with a SBF not a sbc
A ford motor in a ford???.....Gezz what will they think of next?.....LOL
Is there any other way?? No!!
Excellent start man!
You look like my builds.Working in the shop is like working in a phone booth-Very tight.
Some more progress a few mock-up shots.engine and front axle.
yeah only a two car garage.bigger than some i have seen though!
Sport Coupes look great when the builder takes time to get all the proportions right. There is a Sport Coupe thread that pops up every now and then with some great pics.
Are you keeping the fabric top ? I do see you have allready made a few cuts.
Yes it is going to have a top.not sure what type yet.i have seen a few ideas on here but i'am not sure what i'am going to do yet.
I have a '28 sport coupe that is a future project. Did you pinch the rails at the front of the cowl? I was thinking of using a deuce frame on mine also.
How did you fit a Ford motor in there?
Not a bad start at all although that damn ford motor has to go. You should know that the only way to make a ford run is to put a Chevy motor in it Don't mean to poke a bee hive but hey...
and then the fight started...
Looks like a great build, good luck.
yes the rails are pinched at the cowl. actually the rails have been reshaped from the cowl to the wheel wells to fit the shape of the body better.i also kicked the rails up in the rear for more axle housing clearance and so the rails ended up even with the rear of the body.and yes a FORD engine in a FORD!
I have to agree with navypainter! A traditional rod would have a SBC before a sbf
SBC are for keeping boats from floating away.
