  4. NICE, NICE, NICE!!

You mentioned the pinstripe wheels earlier. Yes, if the Buick came with the small hubcaps, as yours, instead of full covers, they were stripped.

    Mac,

What's the latest? - any updates you can share? Have you been driving this thing or what?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

Just stumbled onto this. I saw the 7 pages and thought, this will be a great build thread... But I quickly realized it was reply posts on how many folks love these Old Buick Sedanettes.

Just goes to show what a prize you have.

I just picked up a 49 Sedanette PROJECT, so I am using yours as a reference.

    Any updates for us ??

Any updates? Get it running? It looks almost identical to mine except yours has better paint.

Ah man! Such a nice car! I could only dream that my chevy had been in that good of shape when I got it. Your spare tire is like mine though. It's an exact match to the other rims, pin-stripping included, and has it's own trim ring.

We had a 52' Road Master when I was 5. Terrible shape. We drug it out of the forest in North Idaho but sold it before moving to Texas. My heart aches for it still.

These old Buicks were cherry. I see guys driving their Lexus's and Mercedes around and think, "You got nothin'!" lol

Sorry Fellas , i lost track of this thread . Unfortunatley the Buick eded up going to a new home . A member here down in Louisianna bought it after i had a few financial stumbling blocks . My 55 was never leaving so the Buick had to . But there is a silver lining to everything . The car went to some folks that were going to treat it right and after all was said and done , it helped me get my 55 Chevy on the road after 7 years of turning wrenches on it.
