Kind of kept this under my hat till it was a done deal but Dennis at O'Brien Truckers contacted me after seeing a pencil sketch I posted on the HAMB and asked to reproduce it in his line of plaques. I gave him my blessing and today I got pics of the finished product.
It's great when someone likes your idea enough to invest their time and dollars to make it a reality.
Thanks Dennis, can't wait to get mine in the mail.

    Barnett,
I was offered the chance to be on the money side of the deal but I declined. I hope he sells a ton of them. Dennis took all the risk so he deserves the reward. As for me, how many folks can be at a show anywhere in the country and see something they designed drive by. That will be my reward. Glad you all like it and thanks for the kind words.

I always remember the quote from Paul Williams (remember him) who said he started out selling his songs outright for $200. Then Barbara Striesand recorded one of them and he didn't have to do that anymore. If you don't think your next work is going to be better than your last your out of business. [IMG]

For those of you that have PMed me wanting one, Dennis is 59BuickWagon here on the HAMB. (Sorry for the SPAM) He can hook you up.

    Thanks again.
    George

  12. Cool...as long as you're happy! That's a nice solid design that should stick around for a real long time.

  16. George - The finished product looks great. I've been telling everyone that I know you. By the way I didn't know your last name was who? [IMG]

That looks AWESOME! I've never felt the desire to have a drag/club plate on any of my rides but I'm begining to reconsider. Might just have to get one, have you sign it and hang it on the wall in my car memorbilia/computer room.
