440, 727, 355 suregrip. needs some cleaning up, and a little tuning but runs and drives good.

Sweet car. I've been on the hunt for a 64 for years.
I would either ditch the scoop or shave the trim.

Nice old Dodge. Had one years ago. IIRC that color is Poly Iridesent Red Metallic. Mine was a 318 3OTT. Added 4 bbl and duals and converted to floor shifter.

Nice dodge there is a pretty nice one here in portland oregon for sale $3500 needs some work but actually the body is in geat shape. As for the scoop its pretty big but if you like it go with it.

The hood scoop is true and correct to the era - that is what they came from the factory with when in SS trim/form
I have one for my 63 Dodge 330 and am now sitting on the fence whether to use it or not.
My indecision is more to do with me thinking that it will be sacriledge to cut a perfectly good hood to fit it and as the years have gone by its getting harder to find good panels.
Plus I'm now over 50 and when I bought it I was in my thirties and my priorities and tastes have changed.

I think it looks rocking and horny with it yet it is a personel choice

  14. Paint the scoop black or body color.... Then decide if you like it or not. It won't stick out like a sore thumb anymore.

Car looks good. The scoop is a nice touch on the 63-65 dodge and plymouths back when they were SS cars.
