Thank you greaser 35. I wanting to put the Aerostar coils upfront and was wondering if the G 78 are going to rub against outer fender when turning into incline drive ways or similar.

With stock wheels no problem, the 52-54 Fords have such shallow wheel wells if you use a reversed wheel the back wheels can be a bitch to change but usually the fronts are not an issue.

That is awesome, man! I've always wanted to learn pinstripping. Love the green flake paint too!

  11. Pinstripping looks great !! Cars really come together I've been watching the build !!

  12. Wow! I have been kind of bummed about my four door '56 Fords lately and have not had the desire to work on them at all because I want a roadster:rolleyes: But this is totally lighting the fire under my ass! I love love love you're car man! The green looked killer and I was like "fuuuuuuck don't paint it white" but it looks EVEN BETTER with the white. Total knock out of the park! Love the interior as well:cool:

  13. Sorry to say this man, but I think you should have practiced pinstriping a lot more before doing your car. Or pay a professional to do it. To me, it does not flow very well, and the lines are not very even. The rest of the car is coming out so great, but that just looks out of place.

You are reason, the pinstrip is bad, not beautiful, I am immediately going to erase ;)

  15. I know it takes professionals a lot of practice to get as good as they do. If you copy other designs on paper first until you get very comfortable with it, then start practicing with a pin striping brush to get smooth even lines, I think with practice you could lay down some pretty great lines. Everything else you have done yourself on this car has been great.
I personally will hire a professional pinstriper when my car is ready for it. They know what they are doing and can do a much better job than I ever could.

I kinda liked the scratchy pin striping. Anybody can have clean perfect stripes but it says something when you do it yourself.
