  1. Those are pretty cool, I first thought those were '56 Dodge/DeSoto. Nicely done!

Looks great! I wouldn't have thought gold over white would look so good but I'm convinced now.

I'm with this guy, I love the gold and white.

  12. Something I really like about that gold color, but I can't put a finger on it right off .
Really the whole car looks fantastic.
I lived in Brisbane back a hundred year ago (1968). Never even saw a custom or hotrod on the streets back then, a few old Harleys but no American cars. I had a 50's Holden then. I did a few paint tricks on it like rattle can ghost flames and pinstiping but that was it.
Lost all my money on Speedway Bikes back then.
Great country though, loved it :D

Those are '56 Olds lenses in '53 Ford bezels. My '52 has the same setup.

The Dodge caps on the OP's car look great! Very nice looking custom.

  26. Just working my way around the world for a few years (1967-1968). I lived just outside of Brisbane, I thing it was Indropilly or something like that. My next door neighbor was a speedway rider and he got me hooked on it then.
Like I said, I never even saw an American car back then muchless a hotrod or custom.
