great skills man!! After lookin over the whole build I get to where you send it off for exhaust. I was like WHAT?!?! I would think with fabbing and welding skills like yours, you could do exhaust on your lunch break! Keep goin dude!

Not the most traditional but I can always respect solid craftsmanship and metal work. The scratch built chassis is impressive. I hope the wheel tubs are purely for clearance and not to house some large diameter wheels.

Def. not wide wheels going on this thing! when it damn near tucks all the lugnuts, its a real pain to get the wheels off, that's why the tubs are so large!

Sorry for tossing in these old pics, I couldn't find them but totally thought they were worth sharing. Hopefully later today I can get the pics off my camera and go back to "real time" reporting. Enjoy.

  20. Man! ..what a ton of work, looks like you know what you're doing.
Will this be running to bring to the Torquefest this May?,..or the Scrap Drive in June?...would like to check it out.

Those early 50's Chevs are nice lookin cars.

THANKS! I've been busting out some crackhead hours, I'm trying super hard to get it drivable before Torqefest. I have another kid on the way this summer, and i know it'll turn into a ten year project if i don't get it drivable. So if I set a unrealistic goal (torquefest) I may just get it done shortly after.. :)

As you could probably imagine, its not because i'm lazy.. HAHA, I seriously like the proportions of the car the way it is when its laid out. If I were to chop it, it would probably be such a small, unnoticeable amount that it wouldn't even be worth my time. That And I like headroom. :D With the nearly 2" channel in the body already, it won't take much to get the roof to an uncomfortable height. Its getting cruised this year un finished, so who knows. Maybe i'll change my mind and chop the hell out of it..
