  1. After doing some research it sounds like adding a PCV valve on one of the valve covers might help some of the leaking issues.

Out for a little spin. I ended up putting the second pair of valve covers on it so the breather would have a better fit until I can get the grommets posted earlier. Also installed a pcv. It may have helped somewhat with the backspray but I think this big finned breather is just too open and oil is dripping out of the bottom. The car is fast and loud though. Just how I like it. Read both of these: http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/all-ford-techboard/475686-pcv-system-302-a.html And this: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/302-ford-eng-do-you-need-a-pcv-valve.623257/ Had problem with valve cover gaskets too,Fel-Pro and Mr. Gasket cork swapped to these and added baffles and problem solved http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-MUSTAN...ash=item35f1de95c9:g:aawAAOSwEetV-gm5&vxp=mtr Still get some oil around the breathers so will add a hose to the underside of the air filter to complete the system.

I've got a flat spot in one of the tires that creates a bad shake at around 65mph so until I get a new one I've been staying off the freeways. Car runs good now. I took it to a local show and was greeted by everyone there with welcoming smiles. They all liked seeing a younger guy driving one of these.

I don't know if he is on here but pretty sure you follow 53cvictoria on IG. I keep seeing a similar color combo on your 52. I love a very mild custom like this. This and your's keeps pushing me every day to get my 54 Skyliner up and going.

  13. Ya I know that car! Definitely some inspiration for my build. That's what it's all about man, just keeping the motivation up and keeping these old cars on the road!

Just a little update, I found out my rims were actually pretty out of round. I needed at least 2 new ones. Somehow I ended up with 4 rims and some 6.70-15 super cushions on my credit card statement. I blame it on my sickness.

    After and before.
My turning radius is gone now, and I'm riding about 1/2" higher, but I like how they fill up the wheel wells better now. Anyone think the 4 1/4" whitewall is too big???

I agree that the whitewall is a bit thick. But I wouldn't worry too much about it until it's time to replace...unless, of course, the driveability is seriously affected by the new tire size...

I think the white walls look great the other hubcaps showed a little more wheel which is a nice touch with them being red imo. Nice build man keep it up

I would raise the front just a little higher if it was my car, i like the raked look and you can turn around little better and ride a little better, but in the end its your car enjoy it the way you like looks great!!! By the way Deftones is a great band
