After 5 long years , 2 cars (49&50 coupe) and through hell and back ... I'm finally messing around with my 51

Plans are mustang 2 and tail dragger rear but for now I'm gonna do some bodywork to keep me busy

Wish I had done 4"s in the rear but I went 3 all round. Do you have the stock grill? I am looking for a good bottom bar if you have it.

    Bagging all 4 corners 😎

Thanks for the kind words fellas , living on my own and having no garage or a driveway to build this thing makes it really hard haha

WOW! Looks really solid! Like you said, just stay busy on it for now, do the things you can afford time and money wise, and everything else will fall into place.
Also doing a "half peak" on my hood, good call.
Looking really good! Keep on hustlin!

Great start on a real sound looking 51. I love the 51-52 body styles. Your plan sound like you have given this project a lot of thought. Good luck on the build. This is my 51. Purchased from the original owner. She was 76 at the time.:D

Yea I've had more time to get ideas than actually working on it, it's only had 3 months of work the rest of the time it's been neglected due to not having a garage or place to work on it

Been super busy since I got back from viva , mustang 2 is here . Finally was able to pull the body, progress is slow as of rt now but I hope to speed it up soon .

  29. I really like 50s Chevy tail draggers. How much you goanna chop it? The my rule of chopping is to cut as much as you can, but leave room to be able to slide a beer can through.
