Good luck getting her done, hope you make the deadline. Do let us know how that tranny works out! I like that adaptor since it uses the oem clutch parts and linkage, for the most part. I saw a set up that used a slave cylinder and that put me off of the idea...yours puts me back into it. I'll swap it when I get my 265 installed.
Driveline is finished and fits like a glove. Everything is going good, Time to spend on the car has been few and far between. But all fluids are in and all thats left is bleeding the rear brakes and finish mounting up the new wheels and tires..O ' I think I for got to mention I purchased new wheels and tires..The front being lowered so much the stock 16" 600x16 where just to tall, i had like zero turning radius..Though it looked bad ass..So I went for 15" smoothies and silvertown WWW's topped off with a narrow trim ring. I think it looks pretty bad ass..

I went back through the thread but I may of missed it.[/QUOTE] I used a regular gm 12v alternator, removed the the narrow pulley and replaced it with my generators wide belt pulley, since my 201 flatty still uses the wide v-belt. It fit perfectly. The mounting bracket is just a cut and re-weld of the original bracket..Sorry I didn't do a how-to-on that..
I know those tires!...mine are back from 04 from the PO and they are alittle hard and little dry rotted, but still driveable....good tires. What'd those set you back...about $250 each?...I hope you did the spare too, for looks and just in case! When my drivetrain is all done and in I plan on smoking some old tires!
Okay, I was able to get home this afternoon and get the car off the jack stands and go for it first testdrive with its new 5speed trans and rear diff..I must say its like driving a completly different car..Very nice to drive..I need to do some front end alignment changes and then I will go out onto the freeway and see how she does,,but just around the hood on surface streets, its great..I will have to "re-mould" the shifter to help out with my long legs for some more room..But all and all..BIG THUMBS UP!!!! Here are some complete pics showing the new wheels and tires..The back looks alittle funny being a small tire, but the point of that was for next year when it gets 4-linked and bagged in the back, it will give me more room to drop..Still looks pretty good though.

Man, you have done alot of work to the coupe, all for the better. The HAMB is so great, see progress/tech on members rides that helps so many with all those unanswered questions, and maybe abit of motivation to keep or get going on theirs. You have turned pops coupe into a user friendly, super cool Plymouth...two thumbs up
