the chop looks killer keep up the great work
my wife was REALLY getting tired of these original ,but refurbished(20 years ago) stock Tudor seats laying around in the dining room..so i threw them in to get them outta her way..
Winter time burnout pics are gonna be COOL!! haha.. lookin nice man!
thanks man! .. i'm actually shooting for much sooner, but want to give myself a comfort zone,,no need for highpressure dealines !!
I saw its brother this weekend.haha
hahaha! i have seen that car in person and i was like WTF? hahaha
Junkyard Junky and myself had heard about a wild bronco roming in the back 40..so today He & I went out to the farm and rustled her up! she did a bunch of kickin and buckin and was stuburn as helltrying to get her loaded up,had to drag her to get her loaded! but we brought her home! a great way to spend a sunday afternoon!
here's Junkyard Junky with the laso tied to her
and here's the reason we got her!,, this 9" will work perfect under the 34!
thanks again Johnathan !
...Alot of people have been asking me about updates (ok, actually only one person ) ...because ive been doing alot of the things that dont really show that ive done anything,,i got the rear end mounted under there officially as of tonight.
..the 9" carrier in the rear i picked up was junk,,so sourced one out along with fabing a Tri Link ?? rear set up..similar to a ladder bar set up except it pivots of the ball yoke pirated from the reminaints of a 34 wishbone....i used 46 ford lower rear wishbones sleved to the yoke, then flipped the 34 wishbones ,welded the seam and pied them in with the other bones,,,i will ad a gusset,,,i think it should be pretty strong,,,,and a 47 ford front leaf on the rear with press to fit sleves(eliminating the rubber bushings) running standard shackles....
...forgot to mention,,stold the ball mount area from the front crossmeber, then built it into a heavywall tubluar( i know not traditional, but i dont want it moving whatsover...) crossmember,,,,..so thats what ive been up to the past couple weeks...
Nice setup on the rear, looks pretty cool!
thanks!,,ive seen it done a few times various ways, so im hoping it will hold up pretty good.
That their is a good looking car!! Thanks for sharing u lean back the windshield? Have detail pics of the chop?

thanks, yes, the windshield post have been laid back, theres a few pics on page 2 or 3...
ok, i have been working on it, but nothing really worth posting about....but i had to push her outside today to use the garage for something else... so figured i'd take some outside pics....
The car has a unique and interesting stance. What's next?
... i am waiting untill i get the complete engine and everything in it before i decide on lowering it, (there's just a short block in it for mockup) it should go down a tad in the front, but if its not what i like, then i may re-work the crossmember to get her down a lil bit more and maybe the rear spring.
whats next? finish up recessing the firewall, make trans tunnel/toeboards and repair rear floor pan, driveshaft, go through the brakes. and drop motor in it..plus a hundred other lil things,,
I think it looks perfect man. Good job!
also! ,,,BIG thanks to Earl Schieb for hooking me up for FREE the 40 ford tudor rear seat,,the top section fits well ,had to do some modifying to the seat bottom(still need a lil more) and thanks to NealinCA for hooking me up with the missing pitman arm nut and thanks to TEX ENGLER from TEX ENGLER's ROD and CUSTOM for helping me out on the replacment rearend chunk after mine turned out to be junk and pressing my new bearings on and thanks to everyone who has sold me parts on the HAMB and FORDBARN to keep this project going!!!!
What part of tn. are you in? if you don't mind me asking.
i am actually just a lil north across the state line in KY.
Great looking Tudor!
I envy you. Are you going to put hookers on the door? ha ha
you know,,,that would be SWEET!!!
Skip i really apreciate that but Dude,,but you have built thee baddest ass custom in the last 20 years atleast,,,i used to covet Jimmy Vaughns 54,,but your 51 vicky is the epitomie !!!
Your a luck SOB...this picture says it all! Seriously nice work though. I really dig the stance right where its at but I can appreciate wanting to get it right the first time!
