At long last, my '34 Ford high boy is home, a three-year project thus far. Frame/suspension from Pete & Jake's. New GM crate 350 with 700R4 trans. Body is from Show Me Customs from Missouri. Rocket wheels with Diamond Back bias look radials. Build by a talented good friend here locally. Leather interior (next and final part of project) will be installed by Matthew Morgan, also here in the Knoxville area. Looking forward to its completion and being able to get it out to shows. Funny, the color changes from gray green to blue green depending on light. Here are a few photos now that it is home.
That is beautiful and awesome! words are not enough. Not sure when good weather ends where you live, but enjoy the rest of the summer driving it
Gonna be a lot of fun! Those show me bodies always look like a solid product when I see them. Chops looks great
Those wheels are Rocket Igniters. Same wheels on my car, but mine aren't as shiny, lol, I hate polishing.I think I got mine from Jegs. Your car looks awesome, Gilby!! Love the color.
Thanks for all the nice comments guys. As to the questions I noted above, the wheels are indeed polished Rocket Ignitors, tires are Diamond Back bias look radials (Auburns) in 5.50 16 front and 7.50 16 rear. The color of the leather interior will be "clay pot," kind of a saddle/butterscotch type color. Will attach a photo. Was hoping to have it at Shades of the Past in Pidgeon Forge this year for judging, but the schedule fell behind and the interior will not be done in time. Sad because this is supposed to be the very last year for Shades. Something about Dollywood Splash Country has not renewed their contract to use that facility and they don't think there is another to meet their needs. Hope that decision turns around for 2023.
