Hot Rods My 32 Roadster, Rolling bones styled NEW engine ...UPDATED 18 Feb

    Hi All, Have started this project in June 2011, And start to collect parts in January 2011...

    Pick up this nice 1937 Matford frame in South West of France

    The idea was to keep front end, rear end, steering, wheels and center cross member.

    Also bough repro rails

    the frame will sit lower of course...

    Engine: French flathead,
    Transmission: T5
    Rear Axle: original 1937 banjo

    I like that idea building an "Euro Deuce" using mainly European sourced parts.
    Always fancied somethin' like that using a pre-war Merc 170 .....

    It has become more and more obvious that despite the obvious difficulties of getting the parts hot rodders in other countries build some of the BEST traditional Hot Rods around.
    We in America have it so easy and the Bones admire your determination and love for the pure essence of the HOT ROD.
    Here's a few shots of the now John Suckling / Ken Schmidt Rolling Bones Roadster and the abuse we put our hot rods through . they are Hot Rods wear em out so you can rebuild them again.
    Great start - look forward to seeing your progress

    Are you running the flathead ? Looks like an awful short hood or maybe it's just the camera angle ?

    Yes French flathead !
    Camera Angle kill the picture...of course original 32'' hood will be used and original grille
    ;-)
