It all happens in 22 by 22 attached garage. I did install lots of lights, 100 amp service, epoxy painted floor, insulation, electric heat, and then drywall and paint when I bought the house and before moving my equipment in. It's a nice work space but I have to share with the lawn mower and kids bicycles. LOL. No show plans other then driving to some like the Lonestar Round Up, L.A. roadster show, Columbus with friends.

Here a some pics of the front suspension going together. I like put 3 holes in everything so I made sleeves for the radius rods and welded them in. Also some shots of the Panhard bar and mounts.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

That U joint on the engine stand is so over the top, please keep posting photos. You have forced me to go to the lumber yard and get the studs I need to install the new double hung window in the back wall of my garage. Bob

    Wow
Pretty crafty, I see some new ideas to borrow.
Neat use of u-joint on your spreader bar/stand.
    Edit

I first saw the rear end radius rods on FB and put that photo on my website (Pewsplace.com) asking who built the chassis. Now I know! Outstanding design and craftsmanship; in a World Class shop with every tool you could ask for; and the knowledge of how to use them. I was burnt out on Deuces until I saw this one. Congratulations on getting me back on track with Deuces. Keep those photos coming. Do you have a maid that keeps the shop so clean!!!!

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. The next series of pictures show the curved stainless spreader bar, sectioned headlight mounts with crossbar, and some filler pieces for the front frame horns.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Did a little work on my Socal front brakes to make them look more authentic. Frist I cleaned up the drum edges on the lathe. Made the adjusters and spring retainer out of stainless and the welded them to the backing plate from the backside, same with what would be the bolts holding the wheel cylinder. 22. Wow what a great build!. This is probably a stupid question but how do you secure the faux rivets? Are they just welded from behind?

They are called drive screws, if you notice in the picture they have serrated edges and you drill a under size hole and beat them in with a BFH. They are not really holding any weight because I rosette welded the plates/brackets to the frame. Where you can see the back sides I melted them with my TIG torch to look like rivits.[IMG]

  26. Awesome thanks. I figured out the welding the brackets to the frame part but missed the serrated part.
