    A bit more progress..
Need to fine tune the details of the column drop but it's just about done.
Also got most of the wiring done aside from the dash and signal switch too..
Fuel system is in as well.

    Thanks man, much appreciated!

Well, it's off the lift and on it's "feet".. Should be running/moving under it's own power by the end of the week.
The countdown for the indoor show it's supposed to be in is coming up fast so i'm really just trying to get it to that point for now.
Then after the show i'll finish it for spring.

Even though i broke the engine in on a test stand, there's still something about turning the key to start it up!
    Very satisfying. haha

Power is run and it's finally got a heart beat.
Guess you'll have to click on the links below to see/hear the vid. I've tried to get it to just show but it's kicking my ass and i can't figure it out. They are just short, and kinda shitty vids but the best i could do at the time.

Great stance, nice wheel combo, dash full of gauges, and a blower. Nice work!

Thank you all very much! Yeah i'm pretty stoked for sure!
It's still heard to believe it's the same pile of shit that sat in the back of my garage for so many years.
    Daddyo, yeah man me too!!
Steve, you'll hear it.....i'm not going to have time to make the exhaust so it'll be open when i bring it. :D
Today i finally squared up the axles, adjusted panhard bars and steering, set toe and filed out the paper work for plates and ins..
The plate on it in the pics are old ones i had. I just used them for building the plate mount.
Hope to be legal in a week or so..
The windshield frame is at the shop for glass, and i dropped a template off to a buddy who owns a upholstery shop to make the snap in top insert.

Still need some smaller shit, and also have to make the firewall between the trunk and interior, and bend the roll bar.

Back at it tomorrow, but it's drivable even without that stuff. :)

Hell Yeah! You don't need no stinking exhaust! :D
At least not for the show, the more it echos when driving into the building the better! haha
Sounds like you're really goin at it, can't wait to see it on the road this summer!

I drove this thing today for the first time in the 12 or so years i've owned it!
Not far, just around the neighborhood a couple times.
With open headers i didn't want to create problems with the neighbors 'cause the've been REAL good over the years, and the weather is still shit here.
But the roads were dry.....and i could wait no longer.

There is a SERIOUS traction issue! any sort of aggressive throttle in first OR second puts it sideways REAL quick! And that's not dumping the clutch etc, thats just leaning on it with no secondaries. insane little thing!
I took the 'nubs' off the 40 year old NOS Goodyear Dragway's. :)
When the weather gets better i'll have to get a vid of it..it's a handful. hahahaha

What no skulls? Where are the spider webs? How come the wheels aren't red? You call that a hot rod??????

Diggin' it man, I hope to make it out to the show. It would be great to touch base with you and the rest of the WNY guys. Mat came out today to pick up some A stuff I had. We started talking about cars I've owned and your name came up. Then I got all nostalgic, haha.
