    progress update

Things are moveing along and have made some changes needed more roo for engine clearance so the firewall got cut out and reversed not as easy to do since the firewall is welded in a pontiac but it came out awesome. I have to give the highest marks to Jesse Coots who is doing the fab work on this for me.And in the power department the engine is going together and should be done very soon. We have also decided to remove the rear gas tank and bob the rear rails new tank will be in the trunk, i had wanted to keep the original tank but as the build has moved along it just didnt look right

Engine runs and runs great we broke it in on the run stand no noises good oil pressure no crap in the pan. The engine is a 1969 pontiac sprint head has been ported and pollished it is running a "H" cam compression is 9.5 bottom end is stock with custom Ross pistons. We ran it in with a stock single barrel carb and single exhaust these will be replaced with a triple weber sidedraft setup And a set of lake headers

I LOVE pontiacs. I really like what you have done so far and using that engine is going to be so cool.

I think it looks great without the fenders too.

Thanks GTO, good pics and great progress. Wish mine had that much good metal. Guess that's what a finger brake is for!
