  5. I gotta agree with ZMCMIL2121, the red/wht/pink gave attention to the body lines. I bet your uncle doesn't give you another car. :( Flat blk & no chrome makes it look like a hunk of metal, just no character.
Isn't it great we all don't think the same, we all would be driving the same ride.
    That's my .10c worth, your welcome. :)

Well I guess u should be glad I'm building it for me & not u haha.. If you go back to the first page it says that the primer is temporary.. When the car was pink, pink, and red it had tons of bad body work and chips missing around the doors hood and trunk.. So someday it will get shiny paint again but not till I'm done with everything else..

Also got the Hydrobooster mounted up on the firewall.. Still gotta replace a rusty floor pan on the driverside and brace the back of the firewall where the booster is @..

LiL more progress on the dodge had to fix some rust in the floor so I could even attach the new firewall.. So i fabed up a patch panel & Braced the back of the firewall for the Hydrobooster and clutch cyl.. (still workin on the clutch cyl... That's actually tonight's project) also got the steering column shortened and modified to use a q/r hub and u-joint on the other end.. Gonna have to get creative with the steering linkage got a stack of sweet mfg u joints so lets see how this works out..

Since i finally fount the u-joint that fit my steering box I got the steering linkage all dialed i... it's deff I tight fit runs straight through the vacuum pump o n the cummins.. I'm eventually gonna get a vacuum pump off a 94-99 motor and it will clear up a ton of space.. But this works till then.. Spins super smooth no binding at all.. Also got the clutch pedal working.. here's a couple pics..

Benn goin like crazy tryin to finish all the little things on the car.. Here's a few more progress pics the rear disc brakes have been givin me hell I shoulda just got drums.. On the plus side I thought my 9" ford rear had 28 spline axles but when I pulled it apart to change the axle bearings I found that it actually has 31 spline axles that will handle the torque (400ft lb) of the cummins a lot better

Just found this thread. What a cool build. It took a lot of ingenuity to put this together. Well done!
