I just have the roof to prime. I will post some pics soon. If you need to get rid of the springs you can. I thought I would be a little further than I am at this point. If another guys needs them let them get them. If you have them when I need them that cool no worries here.

 

Got the drip rails almost done. We folded the stockers over then filled and blended them in.

Thank man! Frank Livingston's car provided the inspiration to try this technique. I think it looks bitchen and it was way less time consuming than doing round rod. Thanks to Kirk at Jennings Kustom & Restoration for giving it a shot with me!

Thanks bro! Time to start playing with colors to see what looks cool. Still on the fence with Sunset Orange Pearl vs. a Lime Green Pearl as the primary color. Its going to be fades and some simple scallops like you have, but we'll see where we get with the test panels

 

If I may interject a color option...Tequila sunrise from the 2012 Harley Davidson line up. Its a two part paint and is simply killer in the sun. An orange pearl of sorts. Since my car may never see paint, I would highly suggest a look on your part. A custom color with a variety of two tone options..good job..keep it coming

you are just like me.. i love the oranges and greens haha! another guy in our club is doing an orange color.. so that made my decision to do green easier!

 

The bodywork is all done, now we just need to get some blocking done. I think we are going to block and prime the whole car, then finish block and paint the roof and garnish/dash so I can get the interior together. Then come back over the winter and do the rest of the body. Hope to get some pics of it up soon!

 

Oh yeah, anybody have some decent beltline trim??

More progress. All the bodywork's done. Garnish is done.chrome reverse wheels are being made.thus thing is going to billetproof with a painted lid

That color is bad ass! I love it!

 

I wanna see the chrome reverse wheels as soon as you get them back. They are my favorite wheel by far

 

I got em. They'll be on for billetproof. Color is hok planet green. Faded with black on the bottom and silver on top . Then candy gold over everything. 6 coats. Then cleared.
