Man...just like I remember the smoothest custom I had ever seen at age 13...(that was 1955)
The spotlight thread a week ago brought up some love-and-hate controversy, but as a guy that remembers Customs WITH spots, I would present yours as positive evidence.

Wish that was a '50 Ford Crestline steering wheel, but you have NAILED THE WHOLE ENCHILADA!
Beautiful chop, fenders are superb, skirts...Everything. Congrats.

Thanks alot. I dont think i would go without spots on a custom, they help set the whole car off.

I went all summer without the hood and now i think its time to finish the metal work on it, paint it and put in on the 37.

  27. I think you went to a lot of work to make a really cute car really ugly. Park it next to a stock 37 Ford coupe and you will see what I mean.

Well done. Has a bit of Zephyr vibe to the overall look. I'm diggin the headlights and not feelin em at the same time, but that's exactly what a real kustom is all about. I think you nailed it, color and all. I love green but I think I feel the same agnst about it as you may be feelin. I really dig the Caddy dash and the white pleats. I'd like to see more of that. I agree with the steering wheel thoughts, but rather than Ford, a Caddy seems to hit a nerve for wheel choice. Start eyeballin other GM big car wheels too. Not all of em are priceless, and the spline on the steering shaft was the same for longer than most of us think. Just sayin, but yeah, you nailed it.
