I built this car on a speedway motors chassis. Chopped the top 7.5 in the rear and 3.5 in the front. Molded 40 ford rear fenders along with widing them 8 inches in the rear and 3.5 in the front. I got rid of the original drip rail because it was a little shotty and made my own. I put a 53 cadillac dash in it by shorting it. It has air ride on the front and rear.

I really like the green but i think this winter im gonna strip it down and paint it a candy gold. If i get some time.

You couldn't be any more on the money. I am digging the fenders and skirts. How about a full and level side shot.

Love it. Skirts and spots look great, as do the Buick headlight rings, which I wouldn't have guessed, but they do somewhat mimic the shape of the original teardrop headlights, looks real nice.

Are the running boards painted, or upholstered? I like the white. Any plans to replace that LeCarra steering wheel? Looks like it's all period correct but for that one piece.

    More pics!

Thanks alot. The running boards are upholstered. I will probally just keep that steering wheel in it for now, its not my favorite but it works.

I'll never understand some of the people on the HAMB, to have 2 people rate this build as terrible is a sin. Mind you, I'm getting used to those purists making their ratings on my build too, lol.

You have built an outstanding car, great work!! I love the color.

    Cheers.
