Nice pics. Pretty lady. We kid around a lot, but we truly do owe a lot to the women that put up with and even encourage us in this (searching for a word here) craziness we call hot rodding. Mine says she likes hanging out with me because there's always something happening. I did note that she didn't say it was something GOOD.......slide

  7. Love the car! Leave the banger in it when you start to redo it it is perfect for the look of that car! Pretty it up when you do the rest of the car and it will be perfect.

I can imagine there were litterly hundreds of A models just like yours running around from the mid to late 30's and on into the 40's. Thanks for bringing the feel that time back again. I wouldn't change a thing as anything else done to it would make it too "refined". It should stay the way it is and you can concentrate on your other rides. Then, when you want to relive the very early days of rodding just jump in your time machine and go back.

I was having lunch at Rancho Chico today and saw you go by in the roadster. It looks great going down the road.

  16. Too cool You nailed it!

  17. Well, I found out my little problem I was having today. Took Lucy the hound for a ride to my Dads and it died about a 1/2 mile from his place. I've been having a problem with it starting to cut out really bad when it gets warm. Was going to try swapping out distributors, then it hit me. Coil. Put another 6V on it, and it works fine. No more cut outs or dying!!

    Broke down

Looks like you fit better in the car than the dog. Neat car Chris.

I love the windshield! It's almost a shame to "finish" this car it loooks so good. Great car all Ford all steel hard to replace.

  29. Thanks. Yeah, the car looks good now, but will look better with what I have planned :D Don't worry, it will still be an "old" car with genuine Ford parts ;)

Chris, I like the way you build cars. Very traditional and very cool!
