They suck, but hey- I was there & took 'em, right?

Nice location, awesome cars, great music.... I don't think anyone there really gave a crap that it was a little on the chilly side for Texas.

So me & my buddy are walking around the show, & all of the sudden there is almost a noticable collective "gasp" from the crowd. I turn around & see this big ol' more-door '60s behemoth driving up into the show parking area.

A second later, this guy in a grey Oklahoma sweatshirt goes flying past me & stops the guy, & proceeds to point him out of the field & back around to the asphalt parking lot.

Good job, Mr Running Man, whoever you were. I didn't get a pic of his face...... :D

And the live music was killer. Two Tons of Steel rocked, & the Paladins were simply awesome.

And even as great as it was- it got even better. Who wouldn't love seeing this FED up close, let alone hearing the beast fire up? But wait- there's more. The loud pedal was romped on by a truly lovely little lady!

Thanks to all those who made it possible. It was sad to lose the powerplant venue, but Camp Mabry is very cool itself. Hope the Revolution stays in Texas for a while longer!

I think it was an honest case of just going the wrong direction. He ended up parked over in the asphalt lot behind the vendors area where other non-event classic cars were sitting.

Thanks for the props on the pics, guys.

    Thanx fer posting.

  20. I don't know about that, but it was just on ebay for a pile of money. Cool car, but quite controversial, if I remember right.

  21. Just wondering, what is controversial about the gold coupe ?

  22. "Mr. Running Man" is a guy named Ryan. He runs a bad-ass website that focuses on traditional-built hot rods.

I wondered who was going to out Mr Running Man. Wasn't gonna be me! ;)

Now you know why I didn't get a pic of his face. I think Ryan still edits posts with pics of him in it. :D
