I used a speedway adapter when I fitted my T5 to my 40’ Flathead.
Straightforward fit using there 10” Chevy pattern clutch.
The kit comes with a release bearing adapter. Took about 10 mins to fit it all together

They do this one for the non world class S10 T5
And I think they do one for the world class box also

I have a '51 Ford and I've been thinking about doing the same thing. I don't think the Speedway adapter mentioned is the best solution because it has the "old style" clutch with the shaft in the bottom of the bellhousing (the '51 clutch uses a regular pressed metal fork that protrudes from the stock bell housing at 7 o'clock). I think one of the guys on the "Ford Barn" utilized the stock '51 bellhousing with a couple of the tranhsmission bolts moved. I would check over there. I really don't think you want to completely change how the clutch linkage is set up unless you absolutely have to.
