I listen to alot of the newer psychobilly stuff. Its music both my dad and i like wrenching to and listening to on road trips...

Where does a fella find these "old 97's".....is there a place you can hear some sound bites? EDIT: amazon.com has some bites of horton heat any other car related music??
LTJ has a new album out? i pretty much stopped listening to them after Borders and Boundries, is it any good?
they had an album called Anthem after Borders and Boundries which I really like but this new one(In With the Out Crowd) lacks...I dunno...balls? its very pop/punk....I like the fact they mixed up pop, punk and ska but this new album is a bit too pop. I have given it a few listens but once every now and then is enough,it doesnt make me want to press start again as soon as it finishes. the new Rise Against however......
Quit fooling with the candy-ass shit and get some real metal....GRINDCORE! Kill the Client, Rotten Sound, Nasum, etc. hehehe I listen to a ton of other stuff besides metal too, and also a lot of wierd, out-there, crazy stuff most people have never heard of. In the garage I don't listen to music at all. If I'm concentrating on what I'm doing I don't even notice whether or not there's music on anyway. Which is wierd because when I'm AT work I like to have a radio going...maybe it's because my job is too boring. Anyway, here's a list of some bands I like for no reason at all: Tides, Conifer, Warhammer 48k, Baroness, Eden Maine, Built to Spill, Battles, Pinback, Zu, Q and not U, Salvatore, The Psychic Paramount, Green Milk for the Planet Orange, Jesu, Converge, and more!
the best of ray charles... my buddies garage where we do alot of work has xm radio. we usually listen to 50s music. what can i say. i`m addicted.
Carpenters Bread Air Supply Captain and Tenille Starland Vocal Band Tony DiFranco and the DiFranco Family Menudo Color Me Badd Wham!
Today it's Triumph, Blue Emerald, The Joe Perry Project, Uriah Heep, Yngwie Malmsteen and Buddy Guy. More mood swings than a bi-polar schizophrenic.
HMMMMMMM I have Sirius Satellite radio. commercial free music. I only wish they had a rockabilly station. I usually listen to 61, 20, 05, 06 103, 104 and 198( playboy radio)
I listen to a bit of everything, but right now i just picked up the ROCKIN BONES CD Box set and it rules...TONS of 50's rockabilly!!
Bob Wills, Milton Brown, Hank, Gram Parsons, Paladins, Little Charlie etc, Ronnie Earl, Rod Piazza, Billy Joe Shaver....
