Muncie to M-5 question

I am getting ready to swap out my Muncie 4 speed for a T-5 S10 five speed. my question is: Do I need to get the driveshaft from the S10 or will the input shaft that originally went into my Muncie work? I know the length might be different, I'm just not sure if there is a spline difference. Thanks

 

Which Muncie? Earlier ones before around 1970 used a 27 tooth spline, later used a 32 tooth spline. If you've got the 27 spline output, it's the same as the T5.
