Muffler size help

Looking to purchase new mufflers for my 30 coupe if exhaust pipe is 2" what size would the inlet and outlet size be on the muffler 2"?

I am not sure about diameter but the length should be zero.

I think I saw it explained in Speedway's catalog that a 2" pipe fits a 2" muffler. The IDs and ODs are standardized that way. One will slip into the other.

2-inch exhaust pipe is 2.00 inch OD. Most all 2-inch mufflers are sized as 2.00 inch ID, so they slip together.
