I don't believe its a clone of it...kinda something in between Thrush's Bird and Clay Smiths but I think it's a one off if anything it may pre date them in style...unless there is a vintage example that looks like the one shown but I didn't see one in search...but I did just see Mr. Horsepower in association with Clay's Bird Logo so there may be issues there.

Wouldn't be up for us to decide, and finding out the hard way could really suck.

 

I am an artist. If you are making money using others copyrighted material (which one shouldn't) it can be a big deal for sure and you are correct its not right. I take pride in creating the Un-Created.

Originality is an art in itself.

Copyright...It has been up front and center here several times. It is big deal to fight.

It is always an ethical/moral decision an artist must and should always consider.
