Hot Rods Mounting the battery in your early hot rod

    Hey Danny you may recall that in my RPU I have very little room for anything including the battery.

    Since my 8”rear frame kickup is inboard from the side rail I fabricated a bracket that bolts to the frame kickup and holds my AGM battery
    tucked up and secured in front of the rear end.

    Its not as easy to get to as some other locations but it’s not that difficult either.

    I’m going to connect terminals for a plug in battery tender to it for charge maintenance.

    Removing the battery for replacement is relatively easy too.

    It hides behind the side panel.
