Putting some new gages in the old Merc. dash
Gages are 2 1/16" dia. the holes in the dash are (of course) 2 1/4" dia. so they fall right thru.
I could weld them but that's a lot of work.

Was think about maybe getting some chrome closet door pulls, the flush fitting kind and set the gages in the closet pulls then setting the closet pulls in the dash?
Think it will work , any other ideas?

    Many thanks.

weld up the holes... then cut new ones. harder, but looks better.

other than doing it right, get some flat aluminum stock, and make a set of bezel "skirts"...
