    What do I have to use for a bellhousing to mate a T-5 to a 283 chevy.

    Or 153, 194, 230, 250, 262, 265, 292, 302, 307, 327, 348, 350, 366, 396, 400, 402, 427, 454, 496, 572.....etc...

    Well I did say "etc" I thought 305 &409 but went thru too fast... Remembered 153 at the end. 215... you got me there

    Depends on what exact trans you use. For an S-10 trans you can use the plate in this Ebay add and follow his directions

    Davis Speed is a reliable source that a lot of us use for brackets for our six cylinders.

    There are also the Chevy bellhousings that work with the Ford pattern WC T-5 transmissions.
