"Motor Flush" at oil changes?

    I'm with you on the sea foam. I have a chev 327 that sat in the garage for 18 plus years @ the inlaws . I did sea foam in the gas ,oil ,& intake just as it says ! Lifters quit ticking & compression came backup a small amount. I also did 2 more oil & filter changes @ 75-100 mile NAPA gold filter & house brand straight 30! runs pretty good for 130,000 plus

    Yeah, Seafoam isn't a "motor flush" it's more like Marvel Mystery Oil, in the sense that it's a top cylinder lube! It is Petroleum based and NOT a solvent. I've only used it to clear moisture from gas, but not used it in the crankcase. Anybody have any experience with this stuff that hasn't been positive, please speak up.
