1-1/2 coils all the way round.
What year Ranger where the shocks? I got a similar truck that I want to have same stance as yours
I think from 80's. You'll need to buy or make locators to straighten them out...
4" dropped axle front / 3" blocks rear. Next step is to lower the camper...

The chassis sits 7" off the ground @ stock height, while I channeled the body over it.
Stock frame but with a Model A front cross member,reverse mono front spring and 4" dropped axle. HRP
Before and after. I got ride height to 6" front and rear.. Big drop in height when you compare centre of rear axle to sill in before and after shots. Made a jig to set up ride height and modified chassis / suspension to sit just right.
Mono leaf spring in front. Gonna take it down lower soon.
2" spindles and 1" drop coils in front and 2" blocks in rear with the old worn leafs.
2.5 spindle and a coil cut in front
5" spring in rear, thinking about pulling the 5" for a HD 4" and a 2" block so I can haul better
3" Sid's axle, plus 3 leafs removed in the front, 2" lowering saddles plus 2 leafs removed in back. I've had 2 other rigs with MII setups - this one rides and handles just as good, maybe better. Stick with "old school" boys!!!
2 coils off all four corners and 2" drop spindles from speedway's disc conversion kit with 14" g-body steelies (until I can find some effing 4.75" 15" steelies--where'd they all go??)
Rides good, exhaust hits before the bump stops so I just use the pipes like curb feelers for the undercarriage. needs shorter shocks in the rear.
