Projects Most interesting detail on your car...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 4t64rd, Dec 17, 2008.

  1. Rodders Digest used to have a section where they showed interesting details on cars they came across...

If you had to pick one detail of your car that is your favorite or most interesting, what would it be? Only one per car, and please try to show a picture.

I like the fore thought I had with regards to my checkered firewall and my HAMB tag -

    I'm pretty proud of that.

There is a lot of odd stuff on my roadster. The spring is fiberglass and is attached to a dead perch. The front of the bones is all home made with the drop to clear the tie rod. The car also has some relays from Radio Shack that control the turn signals. The rear suspension is of a different design also.

  16. I made the box on my track roadster pickup a couple inches taller than original, so the filler between the body and the box was too small. I made a replacement out of aluminum and put some belled holes in it.

To say nothing of the column shift, adapted 42-48 pedals, a fine looking folding chopped top, an owner of the best caliber!

    Love the car, Andy!

I'm sure someone else has done this but I built my air cleaner out of an old Ford hubcap.

I can't decide: Either the narrowed grill shell (5 inches) or the rear crossmember or the ride height, 2 1/2 inches.

Got to be the drilled trailing arms along with the drilled steering box mount, the drilled motor mount and the drilled axle. When I see this view, it just says HOT ROD !!
