Just about done gathering the parts I need for my hemi project. The cam should be back from Hot Heads this week & then I can put the thin timing cover & sb chev waterpump on it. Also waiting on a Spalding flamethrower. I also built a killer 700R4 for it w/10" converter. Gonna use a 29 A grill shell & a set of BIG 32 headlights mounted low. DAVE

Wow Dave! That looks sinister. Are you going to bring it to the HAMB drags?

    Dave,

Your coupe looks killer! There's nothing quite as nasty looking as a blown hemi. I especially like the head-on picture.

I'm chasing down a hemi of my own. Have leads on a 270 Dodge and a 331 Chrysler. It looks like I'm gonna have to come down there after all, ply you with fermented malt beverages, and pump you for information!

    Keep up the beautiful work.

Yes, the rear end is too wide, its getting replaced w/ a 56 Mercury police differential. The reason it looks wide is that its a camaro & I had to run thick wheel adapter to use the 35 wires.

Holy SHIT! Look at that!!!! AWESOME!! You better do a post with a sound clip!!! I want to hear it!!

One question and I don't mean for this to sound disrespectful in any way shape or form... are those rear spokes going to hold up to the output of that thing?? I was considering going with spokes for my Hemi build, but I figured I would taco them.

LOL, I have a pile of those rims just for that reason. Actually, I have a set of rims w/ BIG meats that I'll run when it gets serious (HAMB drags).

Looks like all ya need now is some real wheels & tires:DYou are gonna wad those spokes up real quick w/ all that torque! I like the color combo though. And w/ an autotragic trans, that fucker is gonna be real quick!
When I was almost ready to drive my coupe for the 1st time, Ryan told me " I can't wait for YOU to drive YOUR car". I thought that was so incredible that someone was stoked for ME to experience my own car. Looking at yours I can't help but feel that for you. I'm sure you are going through all of the anticipations & frustrations that come w/ building an entire car.........But I now know from experience that.......You are in for a HELL of a ride! That thing is killer! Good job so far!
