Picked this up at an estate sale over the weekend. The owner seemed confused about what it came off of. At first, he said '51 Ford but I knew that was wrong. Then his daughter said it came off an old Volvo they used to have (could be, I'm not too hip on furrin' stuff). Looking at the center bar makes me think '50s Plymouth or Studebaker or something like that. All the chromed pieces are actually cast, not stamped. I think the center vertical bar is what's throwing me off (it looks like there's an emblem missing from the top of it). I'm usually pretty good at identifying these things but this one's got me stumped. Can anyone identify this or have a picture of the car it originally came on?
Are the end pieces something that were with the center piece originally? They look like '53 Chevy bullets.
they are simular to 53 chevy blinkers and running lights...but they are not.. they go with that grill im with Cafekid..stude..and i was wrong!
You guys are unbelievable!! It probably took me longer to post the dang pics! I would've never guessed Packard. Wow!
