Guilty as charged...had a '36 dodge panel truck saved from being crushed and melted, rearranged the body into a roadster then had to scrap it out (long story)...got a '40 plymouth 2 door sedan, building into a period correct mid-50's/early 60's gasser with a 331 hemi...picking up a '25 dodge 4 door body, got a 400 big block with wedge heads for that...haven't decided if I'm picking up a '41 Plymouth truck cab or not, but I love the bodystyle and the price is right, might just have to have it sitting around for a while...

    Most Old Plymouths Always Run!

Lifetime Mopar guy in KCMO here.

The first V8 four-speed car I ever drove was a 1970 440+6 'cuda. Had a buddy that had just got it runnin' and needed me to teach him how to drive a manual trans! My father, being a die hard economy driver nearly had a coronary when I showed him the THREE CARBS!!!!! Heh heh heh...

Currently, I'm runnin' a '62 Dodge Dart - a retro-look restification of a rust-free California car that had been raced most of its life. 11.21@123mph in the q/mile.

    Other past fun Mopars: 1970 Duster 340 4-speed, 1970 'cuda340 auto, 1970 'cuda 383 - three speed!

    Peace,

    Maxwdg AKA-Barry

YO!.....Me too. Hope this party ain't breakin' up. Got a '68 Dart GT, (cosmetic GTS) that's in the resto stages. A recently built '81 Mitsu/Challenger that I transplanted a slant into for a drag car, and now have a 'glass '23 T-bucket "kit car" (still in "kit" form) that I traded for that I intend to build up with a slant and three 1-barrels.

    Move Over, Plymouth Approaching Rapidly.

Roger....The FNG that likes the hillside six.

If any of you guys aren't familiar with this car, check it out, see his album and read about it. There is a ton of fantastic fab work done to this former four door that you would not see just by looking at the pic.

    I second that motion.

I got into Mopar about 4 years back when I bought a GTX. Thankfully, it was undocumented so I feel no guilt about hot rodding it like I do ever other car I had. ;) Eventually, I may let this one go so I can snag a Stude pickup, but for now it's my playtoy to tide me over while I work on the '55 and the Austin.

Dad's gone over the Mopar world, too... he runs an early hemi in his Model A sport coupe and is off trying to find me one for the Austin.

P.S. I should have known Freiburger hung out here, too. ;)

  29. I din't have one now, just happy memories from my youth.
