Ahhhh, the memories! One pic is at Ink Rat Tattoo in Koenjii. L to R is Mata, Rei and Nash from Burnout Magazine in the shades. Pinstriping in pic is Ken the Flattop. Not sure who the guy is with the long beard. A bunch of people were waiting in line to see him though. Figured I'd take a pic! ;)

Awesome pictures! Cars are rad as hell and those little mini bikes arent to shabby either. There is a kid at my school that is starting to look like Billie Gibbons with the same freaking hat! haha, so awesome!

I stayed for 10 days. Not including airfare or hotel, I spent $2500. Got a super deal on a plane ticket. Round trip fer $800. It's SUCH a worthwhile trip. Nicest people ever. A little intimidating going somewhere where you dont speak the language. Get a little Japanese phrase book to carry around. Between that and the VERY helpfull people that speak a little English, no problem.

tell me you were smart and some of that money you spent was at Ink Rat. i've been thinking for a while now that if i could pic ANY show to go to it would probably be that one. there used to be a pretty big vw show around the same time to which is a bonus for me. and i could spend several days occupying a tattoo shop while there as theres several guys i've been trying to get work by for a while.

looks like a damn fun time. also good to see you are still kickin. been wantin to make a trip up va way...ken....

That Challenger is totally off topic but it's by far my favorite thing I've seen from the show. It's the first muscle car I've seen redone like that since the actual era. Those Yamahas are pretty damn amazing as well.
