Greetings fellow hambers, here are a few photos from the Mooneyes show. It was a crisp 75 with partly cloudy skys, typical So Cal Christmas weather. Sean
That sedan with the ridiculous rear tires and the skeletons all over it was the biggest pile I've ever seen. I will add that there were alot nicer cars there this year than last year when it seemed as though you tied your car together with bailing wire and duct tape you were allowed a free entry.
California.... The new Florida... A buddy actually called me from the show to tell me about that Vette. I'd kill people for it... Anyone have more pics of it?
At least we know what will be at Viva this next year.......the "bandwagen runneth over".........lots of kool rides though....always makes me want to get off my arse....
Ryan, here are a few more of Groucho's Vette, including the photo from last year's Mooneyes. I have more of the Vette somewhere, I think I am officially stalking the Vette now. Sean
damn, you got there early enough to get pics, I'm jealous. by the time I arrived there was way too many people. Still a pretty cool show for being in "our" backyard
Talked my little sister into going. We got there about one o'clock and stayed a couple a hours. [/img] [/img][/img][/img] Little sister with best in show winner [/img] devil in the details [/img] Lisa with Gene Winfield [/img]
Hey PTL...looks a lot like my 35 Plymouth coupe.....but with the rear quarter windows filled in..............sometimes I think I would like to undue the HAG and build me a taildragger........
Yeah, the quarters look a little wierd from this angle anyway but the front looks great. . . are the headlights sunk that low stock?
The headlights are sunken down....they are originally mounted on stands....see here http://www.carnut.com/cgi-bin/_image.pl?/show/00/hay/hay236.jpg
That little bucket in post #2- anybody got more pics/info on it? Oh, & thanx for sharing you photos w/ us, man!
After seeing this site..... http://www.stylekings.cc/ ........I've been suddenly overcome with the desire to go back to my roots....and get back into the bombs.........gotta love 'em...
Jeff, I stood by it checkin it out for a while, but it was to crowded to get any good phots of it. Looked like Madel A ford drivetrain, rear end was hung on quarter elipticail springs., metal floor, only seat back's, no trans cover, and a airplane plastic alky tank mounted on the inside of the pass. door as a gas tank. A very interesting build. But it was all dirty like the guy loved driven it. I thought it had a neat look, CBB
i notice there was another post about it (earlier) i have seen various pics of it, but it is always in the backround or really far off...so hopefully some one some where has some better pics of it
I have a SERIOUS crush on Munster's Pontiac. I had to miss out. Had to work last minute.......rent me a gun, buy me a bullet. xxx Brandy
