Wonder if the fires are going to affect turn out significantly? Also heard (again) that this is supposed to be the last one at Irwindale?
There's not going to be a "next one" next year. The speedway and drag strip is closing down at the end of this coming January. Sorry to say this. It's a neat place to be and race....
I think there is no next year. I heard this is the last one. But Hopefully they still do the show at a different location because the Irwindale complex is closing down. Its a shame because they hold a lot of fun events there.
No problem I would have liked to have got some more pictures but I was tiered from wiring up a friends car until 3:30 am so he could make it there. It was warm Also it was around 85 degrees. Pretty nice day though and a lot of cars 1300 is what I was told. I don't think it was going to be so big.
Dragged my tired butt down there from the High Desert. Left before the sun was up. It was below 30 up here at that time. Thermometer when I left said 89 degrees. Wow what a weather change. This was my first Mooneyes show. Hopefully they find a good venue to continue it. Killer car variety there!
