I didn't know you go by the name Sweeny as well. They could "whine" all they want, but when the event brings in the $$$ their whining goes unheard. Besides why would anyone want to race on a poorly built 1/8 mile when they could make a pass down Parker Ave? A lot more room at the fairplex as well.
They'll whine, they'll win, then it will have to be moved again. The sorry part is, those whiney pricks moved near an already existing dragstrip. THAT should give them no right to complain about the noise coming from it. But, they do. And it does not go unheard
I agree totally about the part of those people that have nothing better going on in their boring miserable lives, so they have to ruin everybody else's fun, and also about the fact the strip was there years before they were 100%. But what happens when they whine about the Winternationals? And why?

Very well put, Groucho! Because it's VERY true! AND Frank (Groucho, you know Frank in the 51 Chevy) says that not many people raced anyway. When I went to see him race there was a hand full of cars for racing, but they faded away. The CAR SHOW IS what makes this event! NOT the drag racing.....at least not as much to move it to those bigger tracks.
